Our Leaders
Mark Morelli
President and CEO
As President and CEO, Mark leads Vontier with a strong vision for the future. He works closely with the leadership team to build a vibrant, inclusive culture focused on performance and innovation, drive operational excellence, and position the company for growth and long-term success.
Mark joined Vontier in 2020 after nearly two decades leading global industrial and technology corporations through transformative growth and innovation. He also serves on the board of directors of global water technology leader Xylem. His previous leadership roles include President and CEO of Columbus McKinnon Corporation, President and COO of Brooks Automation, CEO of alternative-energy company Energy Conversion Devices, and a number of roles at United Technologies including President, Carrier Commercial Refrigeration. He began his career as a US Army officer and helicopter pilot.
Mark holds an MS from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a BS in Mechanical Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology. He lives in Raleigh, North Carolina, and comes from a family of auto enthusiasts. His father enjoyed the country roads of Europe as an amateur rally driver, and as a teenager Mark and his brother rebuilt an old Triumph and got it running, inspiring his interest in engineering.
Anshooman Aga
CFO
Anshooman leads Vontier’s finance, corporate development, and IT teams, with a focus on continuous improvement and results. He and his teams oversee capital allocation to accelerate strategy and ensure a culture of transparency and financial performance that permeates our entire organization.
Anshooman joined Vontier in 2022 from Harsco Corporation, where he served as SVP and CFO. He has more than 20 years of experience driving growth and transformation at industrial and technology-related businesses, with prominent finance leadership roles at multinational organizations including Cubic, AECOM, and Siemens. He spent four years driving the evolution of mass transit payment technology during a period of significant expansion.
Anshooman holds an MBA in Accounting and Finance from Crummer Graduate School of Business at Rollins College and a BS in Finance from Troy University. He lives in Raleigh, North Carolina, and enjoyed high-performance driving on the Autobahn while living in Germany for four years.
Katie Rowen
SVP, Chief Administrative Officer
Katie leads Vontier’s Corporate Affairs function which includes legal and compliance, EHS, sustainability, human resources, communications, government relations, and public policy. She and her team champion strong governance practices, corporate social responsibility, and sustainability throughout the organization, ensuring that Vontier wins in the markets it serves by always acting with the highest level of integrity.
Katie serves on the Industry Advisory Board for MIT’s Climate & Sustainability Consortium and on the Advisory Board of NACD’s Center for Inclusive Governance. She also serves as executive sponsor of the Vontier Veterans employee resource group.
Katie joined Vontier from Fortive, where she led corporate social responsibility, litigation, and employment law. She previously served in senior legal and compliance roles for Raytheon and worked in private practice.
Katie holds a JD from Vermont Law School and a BA from Colby College, where she captained the women's soccer team. Her deep interest in mobility is rooted in her passion for sustainability. She resides in Raleigh, North Carolina.
Ganesh Kalpundi
Chief Strategy Officer
Ganesh leads Vontier’s overall strategy efforts, creating new paths for growth and unlocking opportunities to catalyze innovation and strengthen our competitive position. The strategy team collaborates across Vontier’s operating companies, leveraging the Vontier Business System to build out options for profitable, sustainable differentiation and growth.
Prior to joining Vontier in 2022, Ganesh was Vice President of Enterprise Strategy at Johnson Controls, where he drove the overall strategy and long-range plan for the $23B enterprise and defined high-impact growth sectors spanning decarbonization, smart connected buildings, and data centers. In previous roles at Johnson Controls, Booz & Company, and DaimlerChrysler, he led digital transformation strategy and applied first principles thinking to a range of strategic opportunities.
Ganesh holds an MBA from the Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan, an MS in engineering mechanics from Virginia Tech, and a BE in mechanical engineering from Osmania University in India. Ganesh has maintained a passion for cars and high-performance driving since his automotive engineering days. He lives in Raleigh, NC with his wife.
Dave Coombe
President, Gilbarco Veeder-Root
Dave has served as President of Gilbarco Veeder-Root since 2022. He and his team help retail fueling customers prepare for the future with safer, more reliable equipment and solutions that enable cleaner fueling. Around the world, our fueling solutions businesses support developing economies, tie communities together, and give rural populations access to essential resources.
Dave joined Gilbarco Veeder-Root in 2004 as UK Customer Operations Manager and has held a number of roles of increasing responsibility, including Business Systems Leader, European Managing Director, and President of Veeder-Root. An experienced leader with a proven track record of delivering financial and operational results, he began his career at Telewest Broadband and Virgin Media.
Dave holds an MBA in Business Administration and Management from Kingston University in London and a first-class honors degree in Business and Marketing from the University of Greenwich in London. He lives with his wife and dog in Greensboro, North Carolina, where they enjoy road biking and traveling, especially to visit their three grown children who live and work in the UK.
Mike Dwyer
President, Matco Tools
Mike has served as President of Matco Tools since 2023. He and his team deliver connected technologies and industry-leading automotive and diagnostic tools for maintaining and repairing traditional, EV, and alternative-fuel vehicles.
Mike has an impressive track record of driving growth and performance and brings more than 30 years of experience leading strategic sales, marketing, brand strategy, product development, innovation, and operations to Vontier. As President, North American Consumer for Goodyear Tire and Rubber, he led a cross-functional team of 10,000 spanning wholesale, retail, ecommerce, and mobile sales. He previously served as Chief Customer Officer and General Manager, Chief Marketing Officer, and Global Head of Brand Marketing at Goodyear and held roles of increasing responsibility in general management, sales, brand management, marketing, and digital excellence at Unilever.
Mike holds an MBA from the University of Detroit Mercy and a BS in Finance from Penn State University. He lives with his family in Cleveland, Ohio and is a high-performance car enthusiast.
Karthik Ganapathi
President, Invenco by GVR
Karthik has served as President of Invenco by GVR since 2022. He and his team are helping convenience retailers around the world adapt and innovate with agile point-of-sale and payment solutions, cloud platforms, and retail workflows. He is a proven global leader with deep experience in organizational transformation, P&L ownership, technology, growth, and M&A.
Karthik joined Gilbarco Veeder-Root in 2022 from Honeywell, where he led the transformation of Honeywell Connected Enterprises to a SaaS business, driving executional excellence and ROI across processes, capabilities, and automation. He previously held leadership roles at several organizations including Diebold, Ascent Aerospace, and EY.
Karthik earned an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business, an MS in Materials Engineering from Missouri University of Science and Technology, and a BS in Materials Engineering from the National Institute of Technology Rourkela in India. He lives in Chicago with his family and enjoys a good run by the lake while not spending time at airports.
Alain Samaha
President, Alternative Energy & Sustainable Fleets
Alain has served as President of Alternative Energy & Sustainable Fleets since 2023. He and his team accelerate Vontier's ability to lead the global energy transition by driving growth, innovation, and collaboration across our businesses focused on connected and clean energy solutions. In addition, as President of Teletrac Navman, he oversees the company’s strategic direction and product evolution, with a focus on artificial intelligence and cutting-edge telematics.
Alain has more than 20 years of leadership expertise in digital transformation, big data analysis, internet of things, and enterprise asset management. He joined Vontier in 2021 from global industrial technology leader Trimble, where he held a number of leadership roles in engineering, business operations, corporate strategy, general management, and President of the Utilities and Public Administration group.
Alain holds an MBA from Haas School of Business at University of California, Berkeley, a master’s degree in Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering from Stanford University, and a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the American University of Beirut, Lebanon. He lives in the San Francisco Bay area with his wife and three daughters. He has a passion for autonomous vehicles that started early in his career as he developed autonomy solutions for agricultural farm equipment.

Karen Francis
Chair
Karen brings extensive experience to Vontier as a CEO, director, strategic advisor, and investor, with a deep knowledge of corporate governance and a strong track record of successfully building businesses across multiple industries. She currently serves on the board of Polestar Automotive as a member of its Nominating & Governance Committee and Chair of the Compensation Committee.
Karen serves as Senior Advisor to TPG Capital. She is deeply engaged in the mobility and transportation technology ecosystem as an independent director for a number of private-equity and venture-capital funded companies in Silicon Valley, including CelLink and Nauto. Her career experience in the automotive industry (1996 to 2002) includes serving as GM of the Oldsmobile division of General Motors and as VP of Ford Motor Company, where she led the corporate venture capital group.
She previously led education technology company AcademixDirect as CEO (2009 to 2014) and Executive Chairman (2009 to 2017). She served as Chairman and CEO of Publicis & Hal Riney from 2004 to 2007. From 2016 to 2019, she served on the Telenav Board of Directors as lead independent director, chair of the Compensation Committee, and a member of the Nominating and Governance Committee.
Karen holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and a BA in Economics from Dartmouth College, where she served on the Board of Trustees for nine years. She is a Trustee of PGA Reach, the PGA of America foundation.
Gloria Boyland
Gloria brings comprehensive expertise in quality management, innovation, customer experience, and emerging technologies to the Vontier board. She currently serves on the boards of United Natural Foods and Aurora Innovation, Inc. Gloria is a member of the Compensation and Technology Innovation Committees of United Natural Foods and a member of the Audit and Nominating and Corporate Governance Committees of Aurora Innovation, Inc. She served on the board of Chesapeake Energy Corporation as a member of its Audit, Nominating, and Governance committees from 2016 to 2021.
Gloria was Corporate VP of Operations & Service Support at FedEx Corporation from 2015 to 2019, where she led operational cost reduction and process improvement initiatives, operations technology innovation, service quality improvement, customer experience, and new service offerings. She originally joined FedEx in 2004 and served as Staff VP, Service Experience Leadership from 2004 to 2016. She received a FedEx Corporate Five Star award for the transformation of its Service Quality Index, which measures critical experience touchpoints that drive FedEx customer loyalty. Before FedEx, Gloria held a broad variety of positions in customer experience management, quality management systems, business development, acquisition integration, and general management.
Gloria holds an MBA from Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business and a Juris Doctorate from University of Pennsylvania Law School. She sits on the board of the Memphis Brooks Museum of Art and is a sponsor for Teach For America.
Bob Eatroff
Bob brings significant experience in capital allocation and M&A to the Vontier board. As Executive Vice President of Global Corporate Development and Strategy for Comcast Corporation, he manages Comcast NBCUniversal’s corporate development and M&A efforts. Prior to joining Comcast in 2016, Bob spent more than 20 years at Morgan Stanley’s investment banking division, where he served as lead advisor on some of the firm’s largest and most high-profile M&A transactions and held many leadership positions, including Head of M&A, North America.
Bob earned his MBA in Finance from Columbia Business School and holds a BS in Electrical Engineering from Bucknell University.
David Foulkes
David brings extensive experience in technology and innovation and a deep understanding of global operations and manufacturing to the Vontier board. He has served as Chief Executive Officer and Director for Brunswick Corporation since January 2019. He previously served as President of Brunswick Marine Consumer Solutions while also serving as Brunswick’s Chief Technology Officer. Prior to that he was Head of Product Development at Mercury Marine, a Brunswick company. Before joining Brunswick, David spent 18 years with Ford Motor Company in a number of leadership positions.
David holds a Masters of Science in Structural and Fluid Mechanics and a Bachelors of Science in Aeronautics from Imperial College London. He is the author of a number of patents and technical papers.
Martin Gafinowitz
Martin brings decades of deep industry expertise, extensive experience in the Vontier Business System model, and many years of executive leadership over Gilbarco Veeder-Root and Teletrac Navman to the Vontier board. Starting in 2006, Martin led Danaher’s transportation businesses as a group executive, and continued that journey at Fortive as SVP.
Martin originally joined Veeder-Root in 1992 as Director of Sales and Marketing for Europe and Asia. He was promoted to VP Sales and Marketing, then VP and GM, before becoming President in 2003.
Martin holds a degree in business economics and commercial law from the University of the Witwatersrand, Johannesburg, South Africa.
Christopher Klein
Chris brings extensive public company and operational leadership experience to Vontier, including management experience as chief executive officer of a public company as well as significant corporate strategy experience. He has served as a member of the Board of Thor Industries since 2017 and is a member of its Nominating and Compensation and Development committees. Chris has served as a member of the Board of W.W. Grainger, Inc. since December 2023.
Chris served as the Executive Chairman of the Board of Fortune Brands Home & Security, Inc., a leading manufacturer of home and security products until December 2020, having retired as CEO in January 2020. He joined Fortune Brands, Inc. in 2003 and held corporate strategy, business development and operational positions, and served in the role of CEO of Fortune Brands Home & Security from 2010 to January 2020, taking the company public in a spin-off in 2011. Prior to joining Fortune Brands, Inc., Chris held key strategy and operating positions at Bank One Corporation. Previously, Chris was a partner at McKinsey & Company, a global management consulting firm where he spent eight years in the firm’s Chicago office. Chris spent his early career in commercial banking, at both ABN / AMRO and First Chicago.
Chris graduated from the University of Iowa’s business school (BBA) and earned his MBA at Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management.
Andrew Miller
Andrew brings extensive expertise in financial leadership, investor relations, and information technology to the Vontier board.
As a member of the iRobot Corporation Board of Directors since 2016, Andrew was appointed the Board Chair in January 2024 and has been a member of the Audit Committee since May 2022 and the Nominating and Governance Committee since August 2024. He was Lead Director from May 2022 to January 2024. He joined the Board of Directors and the Audit Committee at global software and cloud leader Verint Systems in 2019 and was appointed the Audit Committee chair in August 2024. He also served on the Board of Directors and Audit Committee for United Online from 2014 to 2016.
Andrew previously served as EVP and CFO of the global software company PTC (2015 to 2019) and CFO of Cepheid, a high-growth molecular diagnostics company (2008 to 2015). He has also served in financial leadership roles at Autodesk, MarketFirst Software, Cadence Design Systems, and Silicon Graphics.
Andrew holds a BSc in Accounting from Santa Clara University.

Maryrose Sylvester
Maryrose brings significant experience transforming industrial businesses and extensive knowledge of global product development and marketing to the Vontier board. In 2022, she joined the board of Flex and is a member of the Compensation and People committee. Since 2021, she has also served on the board of Waste Management, where she is a member of the Management Development and Compensation and Nominating and Governance committees. She has served on the board of Harley-Davidson since 2016 and is chair of its Human Resources Committee and serves as a member of its Nominating and Corporate Governance and Sustainability and Safety committees.
From 2019 to 2020, Maryrose served as Managing Director and Head of Electrification for the U.S. at ABB Group, a global technology company specializing in electrification, robotics, power, and automation. She previously spent more than 30 years at General Electric, where she held a number of leadership roles including President and CEO of GE Current, President and CEO of GE Lighting, and President and CEO of GE Intelligent Platforms, which focused on industrial automation.
Maryrose holds a BSBA in Procurement and Production Management from Bowling Green State University and an MBA from Cleveland State University.
J. Darrell Thomas
Darrell brings significant international experience, particularly in Finance and Treasury. In 2020, Darrell joined the board of British American Tobacco plc and was appointed as its Audit Committee chair in April 2024. He joined the Board of Directors of Dorman, Inc in 2021 and serves on the Audit, Compensation and Nominating and Corporate Governance Committees.
He previously held several senior finance positions at Harley Davidson, Inc., including Interim Chief Financial Officer for Harley-Davidson, Inc. from July 2020 to September 2020, Chief Financial Officer for Harley-Davidson Financial Services, Inc. from January 2018 to June 2020 and Vice President and Treasurer for Harley-Davidson, Inc. from June 2010 through April 2022. Prior to joining Harley Davidson, Darrell served as Vice President and Assistant Treasurer during his seven years at PepsiCo, Inc. and had a nineteen-year career in banking with Commerzbank Securities, Swiss Re New Markets, ABN Amro Bank and Citicorp/Citibank where he held various capital markets and corporate finance roles.
Darrell holds a BA in Economics from Tufts University and an MBA in Finance from the University of Pennsylvania.
