Devon Watson is a creative leader delivering top and bottom-line results with international experience in software, devices and technology enabled services. He spent 10 years at Diebold Nixdorf, a top 10 global financial and retail technology company with 20,000 employees, most recently serving as Global Head of Banking and Chief Marketing Officer.  

Devon has well rounded experience: as a start-up operator, venture capital investor and in large company transformation. At Diebold Nixdorf he held a progression of interdisciplinary roles, including product management and innovation, then leading strategy and operations for the software business through two acquisitions and integrations.  As CMO he drove the successful digitization of the organization and repositioning of the company, enabling new market entry and higher value sales. 

Prior to joining Diebold, Devon was an early team member at Apprenda, a venture backed cloud software company, where he drove business development and go-to-market. He also previously served as a vice president at Primary Ventures, an early stage venture capital firm, where he focused on investments in the software and technology-enabled services sectors. Prior to entering the venture capital industry, he co-founded a software-as-a-service (SaaS) analytics start-up and worked in technology consulting.
